Tribal Vibes

Drumming activities in education settings are a fun and creative way to positively engage children and young people with music making and enable them to learn and develop individual and group percussion skills, as well as developing social and emotional skills.

I support music education programs delivered by the Derby and Derbyshire Music Partnership in mainstream Primary Schools in Derbyshire, and work independently within SEND Schools in Derby City and South Derbyshire. I have also worked with Home Education groups in Staffordshire and Leicestershire.

My specialist areas of interest within education are:

• Excluded young people
• Young people with social, emotional and behaviour issues
• SEND students

Inclusion and participation is at the heart of all my work.
